Legal Bits, Language Issues & Errata
Despite our best efforts, occasionally there are issues and/or errors in the published legal code for Customer Commons agreements. Customer Commons is committed to maintaining static, canonical versions of its agreements, so we do not make changes to the legal code after it is published. Therefore, when issues or errors are identified, they are documented on this page. Future versions of the agreements will be adjusted to remedy these.
Pre-Version 1.0 Agreements:
Customer Commons does not amend legal code once published in pre-1.0 versions of the Dublin agreements suite, including their official translations. Errata in those versions are documented on this page.
Version 1.0 Agreement Suite:
Customer Commons does not amend the legal code once published in the original versions of the 1.0 agreements. Issues and errata are documented on this page.
Official Translations of the 1.0 Agreements:
Official translations of these legal tools are intended as legal equivalents of the original versions. Identified errors in these official translations may be corrected. All errors and any corrections made will be fully documented on this page. (Note that errors have not been corrected in the legal code unless this page specifies that a correction has been made.)
Issues by Legal Tool
- Dublin Agreements 1.0:
- Transition from Terms to Agreements: As part of our website refactor, certain terms were integrated into broader agreements. This transition is reflected in the documents but may require further clarification in future versions to ensure alignment with the new structure.
Errors by Legal Tool:
- 1.0 Dublin Agreement Suite (English):
- Some descriptions did not fully capture the intended legal implications due to the transition from terms to agreements. These will be clarified in subsequent versions.
Upcoming Revisions:
- Version 2.0 Planning: Based on feedback and the initial implementation of the Dublin agreements, we are planning a comprehensive revision for a 2.0 release, expected to address these and other issues comprehensively.
